 A picture taken at Mystic Aquarium of Brain Coral. I really liked the texture of it, but not sure it came out sharp enough. The original color was kind of bland, so I played with the colors a bit in photoshop.

This is such a good shot! I gave it an 8 during voting. I think it should have done much better.

Awesome! I just voted on a similar shot but this one is so much better. The main reason I like it more are the shapes in the stone/coral. Maybe I am just insane but I make out a dog, a guy running and another one kicking his behind. The lighting is very good and all in all I very much like this shot, though not enough to give it a 10 but it got a solid 9 from me.

Great texture but it̢۪s not in any context. While images like this meet the challenge and this one is well done it just feels like one of many desktop patterns you can choose in Windows.

This is really neat. I'm assuming that it is brain coral, but its a great photo!

Technically well done, but no center of interest. Doesn't mean it's not good, it's just more like a wallpaper, or giftwrap design, rather than "fine art". (actually, I would love to see this as a fabric!)
