| I like the texture and color but th elighting is what is hurt the photo to me. I am not sure if you used a flash but it makes the texture look flat to me. I gave it a 5. |

| Excellent lighting to bring out the three dimensions here. Meets the challenge very well and is aesthetically pleasing. |

| At first, I thought this was cocker spaniel fur!! I like the variations and the curled nature of it. Wood??? Interesting. 7 |

| The flat, nearly head on lighting detracts from what could be a very dramatic texture. |
