| I was certain someone was going to provide a mushroom photo. it won a previous Textures challenge :) Anyway, as far as the photo is concerned the DOF bothers me a tad because there seems to be so much blur in the foreground. Maybe an improvement on DOF? Of the whole image, only about 35% is discernable and in focus. Great color and concept. |

| Looks like you were just a hair too close for the macro in this image. The lighting is excellent but for me, the DOF is too shallow - I keep thinking my eyes are out of focus. The composition, crop, POV, and tones are all excellent. 5 |

| I think mushrooms are cool, but this shot is just too blurry or has been compressed too much, I think. Good composition, it just needed better focus. |

| This reminds me of an air filter! LOL Interestig perspective and light. Not that interesting to the eye, but a good job with the subject at hand. |
