I like how the light emphasises the broken edges of the glass. |

Well done, reminds me of the Broken Primaries shot i saw at photosig (did i say Primaries????). This was tough to do and you controlled it well, including the light. Funny, it has a nice emotive quality to me. Yeah, it can just reflect an accident but it also can express violence/frustration - the viewer may read, or not, whatever he wants from it, right? That glass has a very nice, warm quality to it. Just from the light or some toning as well? 8 |

Nice lighting on the pieces. Did you try zooming a little on the pieces more (leaving out some of the stem/base? That might also look good. |

I think the composition and the way the light hits the glass is great! Have you tried looking at it in black and white? Great job! |

Nice! Love the lighting of the glass. Not sure if I'm to thrilled about the blue, would have looked awesome all black! 7 |

Clean photo, like the reflective color coming off the glass |

I can't help but wonder if broken glass was the original idea, or the result of "changed circumstances". Either way it's a very well executed shot - composition and lighting are particularly good. |

Good job! Glass is very clean and sharply focused. I am not sure I would have chosen this floor surface, but it works. Composition is ok (I might have placed a piece or two of glass more toward the bottom portion of the frame). |

Beautiful shot - I was going to try and do something like this for the challenge but I didn't have time in the end. Seeing this, IO'm glad I didn't end up competing against it. Excellent work. |

The reflections add so much to this image. That and your choice of exposure. Focus is exactly where it needed to be, right on the sharp broken edges.
Are the reflections a window treatment or the inside of a light tent? |

I especially like the way the light is captured in each piece as rays extending out. Very pretty shot! |

i like the composition. i think it would have been more powerful if you had been able to use the lighting and post processing to hide the black matt even further. i just copied into my photo software, decreased the light (gamma), increased the contrast and it was too dark overall, but the backdrop became invisible and i'm sure playing around with light and processing you could have achieved that outcome w/great effect. |

effective shot...... not sure about the reflections in the glass..... detracts a little from the simplicity of the shot..... overall though it's a good shot..... |

The way in which the glass is broken is very nice, clean breaks. Did you go through a whole set? : ) |
