The texture of the hide combined with the shaddow and the wet area provides a lot of texture, and some interest in an abstract way -- but a little more sense of the subject -- say part of an eye or trunk or whatever is needed in my opinion to make it a pleasing image |

Maybe someone did ask to submit the leftovers from the zoo challenge :)

Well, at least it's not the butt. Nice shading on this one, and the muddy areas add interest. |

You can't beat an elephant for texture. Um... I wish it had his eye, or trunk, or some discernable part and it might have a focal point. The lighting and detail is fine, but it's missing that one major element for me. I hope this helps. 7 |
