Wow, very difficult shot to get and you've done a great job. A shame about the oof antennae. I wonder if that's why this scored relatively low?

I so respect the patience and balace it takes to do Macro. Good background and color usage and I like the eyes. Perhaps he could have been front and center.

Nice shot. Good macro. It would look better, however, if more of the butterfly was in focus.

Really a fantastic shot of this little guy. Beautiful DOF and colors. I like the background too (the greens really set off the other colors). You'll probably suffer from some voters who feel this isn't a picture taken in a zoo, but not only are butterflies everywhere at zoos, I've even been to a butterfly zoo/sanctuary - so it works for me! Really nice shot.

Great macro. I like the antennae drawing your eye to the left of the shot. The blurred green makes a nice backdrop to her coloring. Good cropping job. 8
