For an Icelander, this is scary stuff, glad you two met at the zoo.
Truly wonderful colours and I love that the animal is so close and we get to see the look in his eyes, "what are you doing on my turf". |

I love the fact that you are not quite sure what is going on behind those gorgeous eyes! Beautiful crispness to your shot, great reward, for your effort! |

Such striking eyes. I wouldn't want to be on the business end of that stare :) Surprisingly enough, there is a lot of sharpness and focus on his whiskers. Great capture. |

Wow...stare down is right! Great shot...I hope it was with a long zoom! I would maybe increase the saturation of the colors a bit to see if it could ad a little pop to the shot. |

First i'd like to thank you for the nice comment you left for me.(pertaining to the waterfall entry in live music) I guess most people don't appreciate nature at it's finest, your comment suggests that you do and it also says a lot about you.I can tell from your photos that you like the finer things in life, and have love and respect for mother nature.
I can't believe how mnay rude people i have met here, don't they realise that if they leave me a nasty comment that i will only return their favour? not very smart people if you ask me!
You have some very nice photos in your album, thank you for sharing them.
i want to be removed from dp challenge,it will ruin my reputation as a professional photographer, anyone that reads this can you ask them to remove me please,i have already spoken to them and they won't remove me,so i guess i have to cause a scene to be removed.so be it,if that's what it will take.thanx for your time and have a nice day |

Great shot!! I love his stare and the capture is excellent in terms of lighting and sharpness! His whiskers and nose really do seem to pop out of the photo :) I do think however that the background takes away from the beauty of the animal itself... I wonder how it looks even more cropped so you only see the center of his face and none of the greenery (you'd loose his ears though)... a tad more of USM also, especially around the eyes?
Very well done! |

Nice close up, but it looks like the focus is slightly off and/or this image has some artifacting from compression |
