 South American Armidillo.

This little guy is only about a foot long total, he was taking a nap in a pet carrier with two Zoo docents showing him off.

I also think this is a great image re textures and surprised it didn't do much better..... I like it a lot.....

Oh Ches! I loved this picture! So crisp and clear. I am really surprised this one isn't way up there at the top! I think your commenteers' score is much more like it!

I think this might have been more interesting could you see all of the armadillos head. That hint of eye makes me want to see more of it. It could use a touch of sharpening as well. Hope this is helpful.

perhaps if the face was not cropped so much it would add some detail

IMO I would like to just see the just the texture on the left, the hair iand other seems visually distracting to me, but the eye is really cool. Great composition, just what was composed doesn't light up my eye. Cool texture, great work 6

It's a nice shoot and good fit in the challene theme. Just a bit oversharpened, creating a fuzzy looking arund the shell padron.
