This photo captures the beauty of the bird flirting as it seems to be with it's eye and the tuck of the the head. I see good color with a play of some light o nthe feathers

Color, line, lighting, and composition are super. While I greatly appreciate the extreme softness of the background, I do wish the neck of the bird were not quite so out of focus. While the bird's eye is the natural focal point of the piece, man's eye is naturally drawn to the large light stretch of the neck that is out of focus and this weakens the effect considerably, IMO. |

What a coy looking expression with the slanted eye. Very nice capture. Love the pose, but think that the lighting is a little bit harsh. Like the background and I think it's exceptionally well composed. Nice job. |

The second time in this challenge that I've commented about an awesome title... I don't think there's a better title possible for this photo! (7) |

Striking in its simplicity. The only way this would have scored higher with me is if you had not cut off the end of his bill. Seems a trifle unfinished.

I like the contrast between the bird and the background, very vivid. For my taste the neck of the bird could be a little more in focus but I think it's a great shot, obviously focussing on the head. Good stuff :) |

I would suggest sharpening the image, and not cropping so much on the bottom - would have liked to see past the end of the beak just a bit |
