| I see you had to wade through swamp to get this shot. The feather is a nice touch. The one thing that bothers me is the shadows. But you can choose the time of day you want to shoot these kind of shots. Did you get that close or did you zoom in the whole 10X? Either way is is a nice shot with great focus where it needs to be. I think if you play with the contrast a little you might dull some of those shadows. |

Great catch and the feather is funny and catches the eye. Nice HUH? factor to catch your audience. I would have added a little color saturation and contrast to define the frog more from his surroundings but very nice!

| Looks like a bullfrog after a chicken dinner. Good focus, love the story behind it and the feather in the mouth. |

| This picture is great. My comments mirror most of what has been said, the colours etc and the feather is just great - thats what makes this picture more than just a frog in a pond. I may have tried to get more of leaves behind her in focus but that may not be possible? |

| LOL @ your explanation of getting the shot. I like this a lot. The feather in the frog's mouth is really great. The DOF, sharpness, and composition are all good. I'm surprised this didn't do better in the challenge (although 5.2 ain't bad in that challenge!). Nice work (and hope you've recovered from your swim...) ;-) |

| More of a wildlife shot than an image focussing on the texture theme really. Some good textures there however... a nice perspective view across the lily pads may have worked better... |

| Good subject. Nice composition. Focus is good. I'm thinking that maybe some levels tweaking in editing, perhaps dropping the darks and mids, could help make the photo really 'pop'. |
