I love this photo! It is stunning, and definitely 'postcard' quality. I like the mountains in the background, adds a lot of interest to the photo. The colors are fabulous, and you captured all the detail beautifully. Nicely done! |

The Wenatchee in the foreground and the Olympics in the background, it doesn't get much more Washington than that! Nice postcard. I like the angle of the ferries' approach. You seem to have the same purplish clouds that ppl complained to me about. I like it, I like it very much! 9 Rob the Swash |

I LOVE Baingridge Island! We have friends there and want to come visit soon. if we do, we'll look you up, too! Oh--this is a good photo, too. I think some folks may want to see those beautiful mountains more than the ferry, but the ferry IS the way of life on that island! Nice work! |

The stormy looking sky in the background with the magenta tinge does a lot for this pic. It took me a while to realise that the ferry was coming in this direction! Good postcard. |

Classic area photograph. You have captured a moment for both residents and visitors. |

Gosh this a great photograph - love the light in the sky, and especially contrasted with the kind of humdrum lighting on the ferry. My quibble would be, and I bet I'm not alone, that this isn't exactly a postcard of a place, is it? Should have been in the transportation challenge (if it was, forgive me - didn't vote on transportation). |

This is a tremendous photo. Terrific subject, picturesque background. Really heavy on the WOW factor here. Not to mention the quality is excellent. I'm giving this a 9 only because I think you should've left a little more room on the left side to give the boat somewhere to travel to. Very nice work and great capture. |

Great job of shooting the ferry. I've tried and tried to get a good photo but despair that the sun will never shine when I'm there with camera. I take the Kingston Ferry every week. |

WONDERFUL photo! I have yet to capture such a nice clear photo of our ferries. I love the sky and especially the beautiful Olympics in the background. I would buy this postcard. |

This is a nice pic of a ferry, but I don't get the title. Where is the island? |

Great one! Love the color of the sky and boat. Need to add the State in the caption (WA?) |

My daughter's comment while we were going through the entries: "Wish I could see the island, not the ferry". Nice picture, though, I love the clouds and the snowy mountain peaks! One nitpicky comment: move the text up just a little (make distance to top and left margins equal), and separate the two words a bit further from each other. |

Looks like a great landscape, shame about the ferry in the way! The mountains and pink sky make this stand out - good entry. |

A little more breathing space on the left would have helped as movement is towards the left. The font size canbe smaller and/or moved a little up.
I like this shot and colors. 6 |
