 Basic shot. My wife was laying on her side. I noticed the wrinkled denim and the thick, leather belt. I thought it would be a good texture shot. Posted processing: auto contrast, levels, brightness, crop, & border.

Very cool idea. I like the composition (and everyone knows what leather belts and jeans feel like) - it meets the challenge well. I like the composition and crop. It may sound strange, but I think that if the jeans were more "worn" and/or included a rattier feel, this image would score higher with voters.

Terrific textures and a simple but effective composition. The sideways point-of-view somehow adds interest. Belt's been taken in a notch recently ... alas, mine's heading the other way. 7

I've been using the criteria that I should be able to feel the phototo determine my vote. This is a great example of success!

I like this. Nice tones, but I'm wanting to see in vertical. Having it in landscape throws me off. But that's just me. I think it's a really good picture with nice detail.

I love the choices of textures here. But I do not care for this angle. The lighting is good but the angle kills it for me.

Cool, I would'a gone with blue denim for more color, but then again that wouldn't go with the belt so I think you made the right decision.

I know I'm picky, but that's leather, not rawhinde. The texture is OK.
