| Adjust the curves in Photoshop to lighten this picture and then add a bit of contrast. I find it amazing that you had the horse reasonably well in focus despite the 1/40th shutter speed, this would ordinarily be far to slow to shoot show jumping. Also the 2.8 should have put at least some of the background out of focus if you had used a longer focal length, say 200mm or higher. Pity about the busy background. |

| The border is distracting and the white balance is off. The border is whiter than the wall and fence. |

| The border doesn't do it for me but I didn't downgrade for it either. The background is too busy, a shallower depth of field would have helped this photo a lot. 6 |

| Technically not a great shot, but a nice action freeze. White balance is too cool/blue, border doesn't add to the shot, some hazy spots, maybe dirty lens? |

| Great job of capturing the action. What I don't care for is with all the objects and signs, the shot looks very cluttered. Maybe a shallower DOF would have helped to separate the subject from the other elements. I don't think the border is doing you any favors here, in fact, I think it adds to the clutter. |

| cropped a little tight on top, or need to omit the white border. Maybe another angle would not be as busy a background? Don;t get me wrong - I do think it is a good photo. |
