| Cropping would have made this a better shot, A bit flat and focus not great but I like the shadow concept. |

| a much tighter crop I think would have enhanced this picture. The background is not dramatic, the sky is not colorful , the cinderblock isn't going to make this picture. |

| Too bad he wasn't headed the other direction with the sun in his face. Might not have put him dead center of the composition either. |

| since the background isn't that special, i would have tried to get a little closer to the skateboarder. filling the frame with the skateboarder would have made a more dynamic shot. |

| try to avoid putting your subject in the middle of the image, it gives it a snapshot feeling. subject is a bit dark and focus feels soft. |
