24th place! I am quite pleased as this is a lot of firsts for me. First time using an SLR since college. First time trying to post process. First time using an SLR zoom lens. First time entering a challenge.

To answer some of the comments made during the challenge: I did not rotate the image, it was taken that way. I did crop about 25% of the image in order to frame the shot better. I also made the mistake of oversharpenning this way too much giving it that pixelated look along the edges.

To make this picture any better in my own opinion I needed a more colorful and complimentary background that would have brought out the car and make it pop.

Very nice! Great feeling of power and speed with the blurred background and wheel. See the driver fight for control with the turned front wheels. Nice color. Did a good job tracking the car body. A winner!

The tilt is unnatural. I don't think it adds anything to this picture. Good capture though.

I really like the angle you took this at - or at least rotated it to. The smoke is exposed just right.

This is a remarkable shot. The only thing I can see wrong (at least on my monitor) is your straight lines are pixelated. Probably from rotating the shot post-process as opposed to tahing the shot at that angle. I get that all the time too. Still, high marks for a super capture.

I could see this shot in motor trend. Excellent. I could care less about cars, but have recently found a love for in-motion car photography. This is a great photo.
