 This one was a real challenge to choose my entry. I started off shooting with gels and only happened to shoot a few without it. It was a real toss up for me during the selection process. I selected this one because the model was wearing the gloves in this shot.

Post processing:
1. Curves to darken the background and lighten the highlights. Only a little bit.

2. Selective Color to remove some of the cyan from the gloves.

That's it! I actually wasn't going to do anything at all to the image I just liked it the way it was.

Would like to see a bit more of the boxer's body or less of the body and more of a headshot over the gloves. Nice contrast and color.

This is a beautiful shot in all ways. The lighting is perfect and helps to portray a menacing figure. It is well cropped. The only negative I can see is that no "action" is being displayed, but on such a great photo I can not hold that against you. Deserving of a high score. 10

some nutjobs will give you a low score because of a lack of action in the photo. the lighting is very nice and fits my perceived mood of a boxer. 10.

Nice photo. the challenge description said to show the action of sport, this is a great portrait and would have scored it much higher in a portrait challenge.
