The foliage on the left has quite a few blow outs. One of the subjects is blown out. The sky is blown out. Focus is bad. Composition is fair. Would have lost the top of the photo so as to be just stairs. There is no relevance with the challenge. This is very odd because I have seen your work in your portfolio a time or two and was very impressed. Not sure where you were going here but I know you have done MUCH better. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Looks like a bit of camera shake going on. I think I might of cropped out the horizon and made seem the stairs went on forever.

while i like the composition, i have no doubt that you are getting hammered for both challenge interpretation and photo quality. just don't take it personally. you might want to check out this thread...good luck!
