Too busy and too small.
Next time try a different angle to get the action and not so much stuff in the background. Better luck next time...

Wow, this could have been a great photo! As it is, it is too small to see any detail or expressions on the players faces. You should try to use the full 640 pixel dimensions whenever possible to allow us to give you a fair evaluation of your work. 4 but could have been a 7 or 8.

to small
07/16/2005 10:36:55 PM
If the image was larger I think I would have scored higher.

way to small, I can't even see what is going on. I looks like it could be really good, but I guess I will never know.

A larger image would have worked better here.

this looks like it is a great image, but it's too small, hard to tell exactly. i'm sure you'll get lots of comments saying this. love the colors.

Looks like a very good capture, from what I can make out. It's a little tough to see, however. When submitting photos, try to make them as large as DPC permits (640 pixels on the largest side). Nice shot here, though.

This looks like it had potential but is way too small to judge properly.

This appears really small on my monitor. Small enough that I can't really tell much about how sharp things are. Seems to be good framing and the colors are vivid but natural.

Seems like a nice shot, but it's too small to make out any detail. Check the tutorials to see how to maximize the picture for this site.

This looks to be a good stop action capture but it is just too small to evaluate

great capture, but small images don't normally do that well.

Man I learned this the hard way, but your photo is pretty tiny. And you've probably got a hundred other people saying the same thing, so I'll stop now. Keep shooting!

This looks like a great capture of the moment, and it seems like it's probably in focus & well composed. I have a hard time telling because of the size, however. Bigger next time, please! I suspect that it would have done very well in the proper size.

You need to give us a larger image size to really see the action

I wish the photo could be larger! The head shot gets lost against the net...

This would have shown much better if the photo was bigger. If you change the pixels instead of the size of the pic, you can fit the required file size. My guess is that the scores will be lower than they should because of the size. I hope I am wrong. I like this shot. Good luck!

This would have been a great shot if I didn't have to get within two inches of my monitor and squint.

This would have much more impact at a bigger size. There's a good tutorial here on how to prepare your photos for challenge. //dpchallenge.com/tutorial.php?TUTORIAL_ID=26
