I managed to break myself away from the fishing long enough to get this image. If the fishing wasn't so much fun, I would have taken more. Very little post processing done. Removed some noise, lightened up the shadows, and multiplied the highlights for a little more detail.

Would be better if he was on the left side of frame instead of in the center.

composition: 4 - main subject is too central, the left bank of the river adds nothing to the composition. Include less left and more right
Exposure: 5 - lighting is flat and the image appears to be under exposed, not enough contrast
impact: 5 - neutral

Composition / Eye Appeal: 5 Not sure if its all the green or just if the Water area was brighter(bolder) could have moved this photo up a notch.
Still one of my favorites really love the Relaxing feeling you get from this shot, great job.

Did you use a tripod? It doesnt seem as sharp as it could be.

Ah, great sport. I'd prefer the subject weren't in the center. The slope of the mountain just accentuates his position.

i think this would be a great shot if you had shifted the field of view to the right. as it is, this is really centered.

I'd love this with better lighting. A little too flat for me.

Nice action, dof and comp. The color/lighting a bit dark imo.

I like the action here (for a sport with little action), but I think it could be improved by positioning the man more to the left rather than in the center of the photo.

Great composition. Would be EXTREME if there was some "punch".
