You had much more guts than I ever would of had. When my brother died I was afraid to touch him...could not do it. Hell after I saw him in the morgue I had horrible nightmares for several nights. Too many scary movies or something more subconscious...who knows. I applaud in having the courage to do this, especially during such a heartwrenching time. |

I like this very much.
That being said, you will resonate with it because of the context. It is personal to you. You have a lifetime to build context. I do not. Max, I gave this image 3.4 seconds. Unfair? Certainly!
Make it personal for me and I'll give you 30 more seconds and a better score.
Sorry to be direct. I do not mean to be hurtfull. |

I think that looking at the views during voting in comparison to the number of votes, your image was a success whether or not the overall score reflected it. |

The title seems a bit morbid. I'd have preferred a crop which allowed more breathing room. |

I think i'd like this a little better if it were just a tad darker and a closer crop on the left side

I'm not quite sure what to do with this photo. This is the 5th time that I've looked at it. It's kinda morbid and has nothing to do with "family" until you read the title. Exposure & focus are good, Composition is very interesting. This is really freaky but I keep coming back to it.... |

Hard to comment on this. I remember this moment well; another father but the same scene. Vale. |

Fit Challenge Criteria: 0/2

The lighting is too flat on the majority of the face, especially around the forehead and right eye. |

WOW! Intimate! It is wonderful that you could use your camera to capture such a momentous moment in the fabric of a family ( where few would dear to tread). |

It won't be everybody's cup of tea, but this is a superb photo. Emotionally and viscerally it grabs you and the hell with technical details. Bravo. Quite an accomplishment. |

Whoa! This is SO intimately a part of being a family, it's a startling image. I wish your family and Pappa well. |

The title is a bit morbid, but the picture gets good points for being original and sharp. |

This one is bound to elicit some emotional responses. I'll be interested to discover the story behind this shot. Like the use of white background. |

Not sure what tosay. I don't want to offend anyone, so let's just say i don't think this meets the challenge very well, nor that it is technically well executed. |
