Kite with 300 ft tail. I spent an hour taking pictures of this kite. I don't know the owner so much of the time was waiting for the tail to form a circle.

We all know what the challenge title is. It is too bad that you could not take the time to be more creative with your titleing.

nice comp, nice dof, nice color, blacks good, whites need work, nice movement, nice lines, overall just nice

For this contest everyone who has the word âcircleâ in their title is getting a lower score. This is a copy and paste version that I am including in every photo that I downgrade due to the title. We as members of DPchallenge know the topic of the challenge â we do not need to reread the topic every time we reach a photo. If circle is in the title and it is appropriate I will most likely not down grade, but it better be good. I am sorry if you do not agree with my method of protest â but scores are all I have.

"Take a photograph where this basic shape is clearly shown as a key element."

I see a nice kite tail that happens to be curved, but no circle.

good capture. Noce colours (shame that you cannot make the kite's colours take up more of the frame - but land at bottom important to composition.

I would have cropped it just a bit tighter on the bottom just enough to loose the edge of the roof...it creates static in the composition, great eye on subject, my favorite motion circle.

cool, is that a kite?

How many shots did it take to get this one? Might have been better to crop the building off the bottom.

This shot works for me... but I think it would be a much stronger composition without the horizon visible. Maybe cropped a little higher on the bottom, and cropped a little tighter on the left would help retain the strength of the vertical crop? - 7 - JeB
