Focus should be circular, this is a portrait.

While this image (IMHO) does not clearly have a circle (is it the helmet?) it is otherwise a very good image.

You took a real chance with this one given that this is an international site and with the anti-american sentiment being so high. I'll look for this one after the challenge to see how it does. The black and white gives it sort of a WW II feel. 7

I'm sure that others have asked, but where is the circle? Is it the helmet?

Be sure and thank this man for me the next time you see him. For the fine and dangerous job he does for us all everyday. The photo; Crisp with an interesting comp and DOF. Hope he comes home safely.

Nice shot of a soldier, but where is the circle? Am I missing something?

A nice portrait...I'm having a really hard time seeing how this meets the challenge..I see little circles hear and there...but none are a key factor...and with this many entries I have to be true to the spirit of this "circle" challenge...sorry.

This is a great shot! It looks great in B/W too! However, I can't see how this meets the challenge. Where's the circle or circular object? I guess you could be thinking of the helmet and face as the curcular object?
