I gave this a higher placement. Top 40 is ok though, right? Congrats. |

nice perspective... that's exactly how I would compose this image. Wish the thing sticking in the air at the far end wasn't there, but I assume you couldn't do much about that. |

This is certainly one of the better hay roll photos. |

Very nice, one of my favorites. I love the perspective, the darker tones, the clouds...everything. Great shot! |

Good shot.. the pole is breaking up the line of the photo.. My eye follows the line of the bails and then the pole sticking up stops the natural path my eye wants to complete to reach the end of the line. |

I love the hay in fields. The BW in this case made it less appealing since I like all the color contrast for this subject. |

The lighting is nice here. Highlights your subject well. Sharp focus...shows nice texture. At first I thought the right was kind of wasted space and could be cropped, but then again, it shows the rural"ness" of the area. The clouds are nice and adds more depthness to the photo. Too bad in this challenge that you couldn't clone out the post in the background. |

Nice shot. I'd almost like to see a little more of what's to the right in the photo...very nostalgic for me...7 |

very nice use of black and white, it all but eleminated distractions. the top right hand corner is a little dark still though. It's ok I love the photo still, being from a family farm in southern ohio I have a better understanding of this photo I think |

Of all the hay bale pictures in this challenge, yours is the most appealing to me. Not only is the angle interesting to the eye (leading line) but the contrast and light is really well done The clouds at a soft texture amidst the prickly hay straws. I give it an 9 |

I love this. Reminds me of growing up in Ohio. A little contrasty to me though |
