Good use of lighting to draw the eye to the circles on the rod |

aha... took me a while to find the circles. at first I didn't see how it fits the theme, but I like the way the circles get smaller with distance. |

Hope something was caught, interesting colors but a bit too unclear focus from my point of view. |

Took me awhile to find the circles. This might have been more effective if the right side of the picture had been cropped so the rod would be emphasized. Nice sunset, though. (I've done the same thing and got criticized and praised for it at the same time. Go figure). |

Wish you could have focused in more on the fishing line holes.. Or possibly just cropping some of the right side would have done it.. |

Although there is a circle in the photo, I don't feel like it is a dominant subject. The end of the rod gets fuzy and lost against the water, lightening it up a little may help. |

although i can see the circles in this image, they are not really a key element IMO. |

Given the challenge, I think your central subject is a bit weak. Granted, circles are here, but I wouldn't really have picked up on them that much had I not been directed to. The photo in and of itself is good, moody, and interesting. |

Hey, that looks like my fisherman. (See my portfolio). I thought about doing a shot looking down a fishing pole, but decided not to enter this one. I like shallow DOF on the pole and the contrast against the orange sky. |

If you crop most of the person it will lead me to the circles. I like the colors and the setting. |

Wow, I love this shot! I was the circles were a littttle bit more of a composition than they are, but the shot itself is great! - 8 - JeB |

besides the little circles in the fishing cane, i don't think it fits the challenge. The idea it's that the theme of the challenge to be the principal component of the photo.
The colors are awesome, and the shadow it's well shaped. |

I like the picture a lot but I think it might be stretching the theme. would you really consider the rings on the fishing rod to be one of the main themes? 6 |

I see the circles, but they realy are not a major part of the attraction of the picture. Nice picture though. |
