Wow! Great colors and amazing lighting! I like your use of DOF and how the flower seems to hang in midair. This is not your typical flower shot. This is great!

I likre the flower and the colors. IMO, the compostion is not as effective as something else could have been. Still nice - overall. 8

7 - Jumps out this one. I do not know if it is naturally green, or pp, but the texture, like satin, is very nice. The centre is captured well, I like the colors. I am not sure about the black background. I will wait and see how you did it.

beautiful green tones - complements the orange center. Well seen. Great POV and composition. Still debating back and forth about DOF but the glow on the edge of the petals is consistent and superb - might be ruined by more focus there. I just can't get over this shade of green - very striking. Nope - larger DOF would detract - one of the things that makes this image is the glow from the lighting - having the edges of the petals in focus might ruin that. 9 from me - good luck in the challenge!

Very nicely done. The color verses the black background is super. The texture to the petals is very nice. A little soft on the right side edges but, very very nice pic.

This is pretty - like it's floating in a sea of ink. The fuzzed edges and crisp focusedcenter is nice. I like the light around the edges alot.

I love the details in the center....great detail in the center...but I love the center more than the rest of the bloom.
