A semi-fossil from the fossilbeds at Tjörnes.
Some sort of a sea-shell, several million years old. Or so I think.
post prod: levels, hue/sat, and various types of USM

Actually for fun I took this with the 100mm F2.8 + 1.4 TC and to fit them together a 12mm Kenko ext.tube.

it would be hard to tell what this was without the title. the edge of the subject in the upper left is nice, but with that cropped out it would make a neat textured wallpaper for a computer screen. Well lit to emphasize the texture detail.

I don't know on this one. Just a bland shot. There dosn't seem to be a point of focus. I like the leeding lines, I just don't get lead to anything.

Very detailed, but not overly interesting to my eye. Perhaps if there were another opposing texture for contrast, but that's just me. The pale and dark show of the lighting of the shell fine.

Feels softly focussed, or over cropped. The single tone doesn't help make the image jump.
