Great idea. It does seem to have a yellowish cast to it though.

I liike the humor in yor title. Wish the green and red were a little deeper, and the whites less yellow. Hard to light mayo without some glare.

food is very hard to phot. profs use shaving foam for cream etc etc
looks like rancid butter with fag ash dressing..
need to stand back and use better colour detail for this type of shot or it looks like someone threw up. sorry.

seems out of focus and the lighting is quite dull. unfortunately this is not very visually appealing.

IMO, it's tough to get creamy, chunky white fluids to look attractive - they too frequently evoke nausea. In the future when shooting under these liighting conditions you may want to think about white point balance. The color in this is very visibly balanced toward the yellow as it would be if it were shot under incandescent lighting. I find the fact that the bowl is out of focus to bother me more than I might have expected. Finally, I find salads will frequently look more lively if they have some strong greens such as spinach, and some dark colors such as black olives. .. For what it's worth.

I have a deep, up close and personal relationship with mayonnaise, myself.
Nice image and perfect dof for a food shot. Color looks a little off.

I think for this to be effective, you'd need to zoom in alot closer and concentrate on the detail of the pepper flakes. Sure does make me hungry though!!!

This could be a great image if the lighting were a little better. As is the yellow cast is unappetizing.
