 This cat came and sat on my fence for a few moments, I think it belongs to a neighbour down the street so I thought I would enter this. I love the way the wind is blowing its fur up and the intent look in its eyes. It look a happy cat!
I'd liked to have cropped closer but it would ruin the look of the fur which is what attracted me
I guess all D P C cat haters will not approve
But I like it! It will probably end up around the 5 mark I at least hope so.I think its worth a 7.2 score and a ribbon LOL! If only!
All I did was crop and cloned of a few minor crusty bits on the cat Yuk!

This is a prize-winning image, even if not in that particular Macro Challenge.

I love cats and this one is sooooo beautiful, great shot, one of my favs in the challenge, had to snatch it also for my favorite folders :)

great color. many will say not macro, but it is close up so I say shut up. Although a pet picture I find this photo tells a story.

Great shot, almost looks like one of mine since I have a cat that resembles this one to a tee. Too bad about the lower right side how the furr looks over exposed at the edges due to the direct sun but still great colors. Good Luck

This is a nice portrait..I like the fur around face looking like the wind is blowing it...did you put a fan behind this cat or is he outdoors? Wonderful portrait and close up shot..the lighting is great; it appears to be direct sunlight but I may be wrong...7

This could have win a ribbon in the Pet Portrait Challenge. Beautiful in every way, but doesn't fit in the Macro challenge .... sorry :(

7 - Very nice shot, but for me, not close enough for a 'macro'. All that 'mane', a closer cropping perhaps, a different angle, not sure. Good 'portrait' though.
