| Great depth of field, excellent focus on subject, and interesting subject matter. Great color and composition. I think it's very well done. |

| The long lens shot wide open certainly creates the macro effect. Macro or not, it's a well composed, lit, focused, and shot photo. |

| 7 - Good. For me, a close up of the head, especially the eye(s) would have made this a better shot. Nice big eyes. |

| Fantastic shot of the ostrich, but not sure I'd consider this a macro. Would have been great for the Birds Challenge! Still a great capture. |
