Very imaginative, colourful and well composed - well done.

Interesting idea and the spark plug is well placed in the picture. Looks like you missed the focal point by just a bit.

seems like the focus should be on the flint...just a little bit further back.

This is just one of those things I would love to try but would end up getting "shocked"! You did a great job.

Pity that the focus is´nt at the actual ignition! Very nice shot though!

Cool shot but the focus is a little far forward

I think this would have been a much stronger entry if the point of focus was the subject and not a spot to the left of it.

Now that was probably very hard to capture! Very good result. 7

7 - Good. For me, a slightly different angle, possibly giving some depth/context with the flames more discernible in the background - if possible, would make it a better photo.

This image is unique.. no bugs, no flowers. It has somewhat interesting lighting. The lightning-like spark adds interest. Where I think it suffers is in the focus. The center appears to be in focus, but everything else is slightly blurred. And yet, the center is the least interesting part of the image. Perhaps if the spark had been the point of focus the image could have worked better. I wonder too if a darker image, to bring out more colors in the flames, might have added some intrigue.

Excellent gas burner entry, worthy addition to this time honored dpc genre.

This is a really cool shot, but the depth of field is too shallow. I would like to see the 'ignition' point more in focus.
