Channel mixer, levels and a small amount of burning. sharpen in ni.

This little guy or gal, which I do not know. Most likely the guy, the other one flew away after mating. I had took shots of them earlier and didn't real see much that caught my eye. So I went back out to see if he was still there, sure enough he was on the point of a blade grass. So I layed down and took his shot. He didn't seem to active so I stuck out my finger and he climbed aboard, I took him to my window seal, where he died about 30 mins later. So in my think if must be the male, would not think the female would die after mating?

Nice focus and detail. Perhaps just a tad overexposed.

Very nicely done. Great idea to do in greyscale. A light duotone might have softened the feel of it a bit. 9

I think color would have been better on this one.

Really nice detail on this shot! I think I would have like to see it in color....looks like a lovely butterfly. I like the composition of this shot.

Would have loved to see some colour on this one but it is a very nice shot

6 - This is a little different, the focus (for me) is fairly good, perhaps the left antenna could be in more, but it is the black and white that I am not sure about. I wonder if this didn't look better in color. I understand the b/w concept though. Just not sure if it works (for me). The cropping/centering could do with a nudge to the left too.

One of the few macros I've seen in this challenge where the B&W really works. Very nice texture and detail. Great shot.

The color seems a bit flat and you cropped his wings a bit.

I don't think I like this in b/w. Sorry, would have loved to see all the colors.
