 This is our tabby kitty, Rose. She doesn't like having her photo taken, so I was thrilled that I could grab this quick one as she sat looking out the window. Other than a little saturation work, this is a pretty straight shot.

Great texture. I feel like I just want to reach out and pet kitty. I agree that a slight crop at the top might improve the composition just a little bit. I wish the eye was just a little bit more open, but I know how cats are! Good job on this one.

pretty kitty! the eye is beautiful, especially with the hair color...I maybe would have cropped out the pinkish area upper left, but a very nice photo

*Critique Club*

I think that this is a great picture. I love how only half of her face is showing. Her eyes look sooo good with her color hair. You did a great job at capturing the detail. My only suggestion would have been to go even closer. Since this was a macro challenge it would have been nice to really zoom on that beautiful green eye with the orange lashes. Cats have great eyes and look really good in macro shots. But like you mentioned, she doesn't like her picture taken, so that probably wasn't possible. Cats can be such Divas!!! Technically, the image is great. I hope this was helpful to you. Good luck in future challenges.

7 - Nice. Would love a closer look though. A real macro even, to get that ginger fur and lashes and that aqua green eye.
