This pic was actually pretty simple to do. First I taped a paintbrush on my wall, then darkened the room completely and made a "woosh" with a flashlight.

8 Second exposure and voila!

Very cool idea. Hmmmmmm. . . .I'm thinking of some cool modifications to try something like this. Thanks for telling us how you did it.

Great work...I really need to try this......Only thing I would change is clone out the indention in your background just above the paintbrush. Excellent work.
