Congradulations on 30th, although I think this shot deserved better.

The time a care put into this are great. Your coin choices fit the challenge perfectly. Lighting is well done on each coin and the background isn't oddly shaded. Good job.

So how many times did a coin fall over and you had to start over? :)
Nice composition. I like your lighting with the long shadows.

I like this. Good composition. Nice colors. Great shadows. Very good focus and DOF. Nice background. And a subject that actually meets the challenge. Having lived and worked in most of these countries I can resonate with their obsolescence. Well done!

Color seems too cool for my taste. Too much white.

The fact that you stood them up on their ends helps with this photograph. But it is still lacking in something, perhaps backlight or shine.

A very nice collection of EU coins! It took me a second or two to realize that Euro had replaced all these...
Nice lighting, good composition and nice DOF. 8.

money is obsolete? Oh, wait, it's that wonderful new euro that has obsoleted this stuff. Cool. I do like the composition and ewxecution of the shot, although apparently I'm a little slow on the uptake. 7

Excellent image! I'd love to know how you did this - it's a very creative take on how to photograph coins. Well done. 10.

edited: okay, I've voted on over half now, and seen the rest, and this is by far my favorite. PLEASE explain how you did this when you win the blue!

seen this a bit too much from the metal challenge (just over). i dont know if those coins are obsolete in anyway....anyway, maybe if the arrangement of the coins are done in linear angles, i would have given this photo a higher rating.

Very interesting photo. I really plike that you stood the coins up - creative. The shadows really add to the image as well. Nice job!
