This is an image of a Mano Y Metate that I found in Western New Mexico. I found it at a prehistoric campsite (along with Anasazi pot sherds and points) and therefore assume it is Anasazi too.

Expert identification is welcomed.

Don't expect it to score highly, just hoping it might be a departure from the Industrial-age technology I expect to see in this challenge.

yet another photo that I thought fit the challenge very well, this almost feels like a museum piece which IMO helps to really focus on the "obsolete" technology, IMO the warm lighting and composition are very appealing :)

I like the balance of black space around the stone image. It definitely depicts what appears to be a stone thrusting out of the past. Better focus would have really made this image pop.

Glad you entered this. Why not natural light? I had these materials but opted for something else.

Beautiful image and nice lighting. I do think that it seems a bit overprocessed in the shadows at the bottom of the rock, but otherwise - great job! 7

I really like the light here and the choice for the topic of obsolete, the focus however is a little off, still like the photo..

Looks soft and fuzzy. Could have been much stronger if the subject was crisp and sharp. The edge of the rock has character that is lost in the blur.
