Now that's what I call 'up close and personal'! Beautiful job - amazing DOF. Great shot! (Are those water droplets on his face/eyes?) Background looks a little overprocessed, but it takes a while for your eyes to stray from the bee! Very nice. |

you know, he looks kinda cute. like a mutated alien dog or something.
it's probably my screen, but it seems as though it needs a little contrast.
either way, good luck. |

This shot had the potential to be fabulous, but only the antenna on the left really has any clarity and sharpness. Even the little hairs on the leg on the left are not as sharp as they should be for a shot like this to be effective. Nice try, though. 6 |

The face is a little dark, maybe lighten it up to get more detail. |

Wow, that's close! Never thought I'd see drops of water on a bugs eye. Incredible shot. It really makes you see bugs as being more than just... well, bugs. He's actually kind of cute up close like that! |

Gave it an 8. The drops on this are amazing. Light is just a bit flat to me. Bump the contrast and it would have been a 10. Good work! |

9 - Yeah. Very good. Nice with the blue background, really fluffs up the 'fur'. Nice blue 'glow' off that left eye too. The detail on the 'facial fur', including the wet fur, is good. Would like to have seen more focus on the centre of the face, but being so dark I am sure that is difficult. I will be back to see what lens you have and how you did this. |

YIKES!!!!! The black on black makes it hard to see the detail in his face but still.... I'm shuddering. The focus is good. Wish I could see the droplets on his eyes better. I like his hairy little head. |

Nice macro... Is it going to mutate or what...
I think a highlights/shadow tool here would wok nice to give more light on the bees head, besides that it is a really nice capture... |
