| This is such a pretty picture - the color on the moth is beautiful. The texture you captured in the wings is incredible. I usually hate moths but I really like this picture! |

| I remember this image from one of the first challenges I voted on. It got a 9 then and still intrigues me today. I love the crop, the diagnols (sp) and the contrasting texture. One of my all time favotrites. |

I thought I had already commented on this one a long time ago...but I don't see it.
This is, I think, my very favorite of your shots. For just a slightly processed, great-out-of-the-camera shot...this one is it. Composition and crop are thoughtful and very appealing. I love the diagonal. Focus, colors, and textures are all spot on. You've really made this into a first rate nature shot, bringing out the beauty of the creature. |

| This is a really nice macro shot.. good composition, great subject. The color just seems to be a little washed out. Not enough yellow in the green, if you know what I mean. |

| 9 - Wow. Are those antennae real? This creature is beautiful and you have captured it very well. Looks like a costume from an extravagant opera. Colors are so vivid and rich, the gold is 'unreal'. Against the 'earth/pebble background'?, I don't know, perhaps it adds a texture contrast. For me, given the 'fabric' of the subject, something equally as luxurious as a background, or else plain, would be better. Is it dead, or just 'resting' ? |
