Nice macro shot, good DOF. I think if you had a subject (such as a spider or bug) on the end of the leaf, this image would be much more interesting. Even as is, it is very cool! |

Love the colors and feel of this shot. Good leading line, draws the eye into the plant. Like the tight crop. Good job. |

I find the effect of the lines to be a little spoilt, as the very tip of the leaf in the bottom right looks a little soft and that seems to be the point that the lines draw my eye to. |

Picture seems a bit too dark and I don't really care for the magenta hue. Nicely focused and cropped though. Good luck. |

I think a tighter crop may have worked better-losing the purple "floor" from the top half of the image. |
