Jason - I really enjoyed this image. The first thing that hit me was the glow it seems to have. Honestly, that was the reason I selected this as a favorite...I wanted to be able to find it after the challenge and see what you had done in post-processing to get that effect.
The funny thing is - I didn't notice the artifacts the first time around and I think that says something. Either I have a poor eye for the details and just missed it - or - (most likely) I got swept up in the image as art for what it is. In retrospect I agree with some of the commenters in that the image would be better without the haloing artifacts, especially if you were to try and sell this as a print.
As for differenct perspectives, angles, etc...you know what you had to work with and I think it is composed quite effectively. Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing what else you come up with in the future.

Seems way over sharpened with some digital halos around the wheels |

oversharpened or overprocessed, whichever. I LOVE the shot. Please redo it so the right side wheel doesn't artifact like that! 7 - should have been 8 |

Neatly composed; Unlike photographs that use B&W to show indicate age, the pleasant background color makes the hay baler look lively. |

Nice use of digital manipulation really adds to the shot. I would have preferred an older looking house in the background. Well composed. |

Good find, but I think there's so much more potential to this picture. Not everyone's thrilled with the idea of lying on their back in the weeds to shoot from a different perspective, but I think that would have added a lot to this shot. |

For my taste, there are too many post processing artifacts. Nice subject. Nice composition. Nice colors. Damn the artifacts! |

I liked this photo quite a bit. It looks like it was over sharpened, though. Still, nice proportions. |

I like the old tools in the field, they're like memorials to a past time. I'll rate it a 7 |

Nice perspective, but appears overly sharpened on my monitor. |

Nice composition. I wish you could of taken it from a different angle so the homes were not showing. |

I can see post processing. A correct exposure would have been better. |

I like this shot but next time try playing with your DOF so maybe the "modern" houses would have blurred out. The sky is cool! |

The houses in the background distract from the subject. |

Interesting though a little overprocessed? |

Wow! I love this photo! It just grabs me. I love the scene, and the colors of the time of day, and the grass blowing in the breeze. This is one of my favorites in this challenge. 10 |

The soft focus and muted tones are quite nice. Thank you for a piece of eye candy. 8 |

I like dreamlike and composition. Bit grainy though. 9 |

Looks over sharpened which detracts from the image quality. it appears as though there are shadow lines around the wheels which should not be there. |
