 International Car Show 2003, NYC. I couldn't stop drooling, these are pictures of some of the more expensive cars, Yummy! The one on the bottom is one of my ultimate dream cars (a Ferrari) though the one on the top, I wouldn't mind (Lamborghini (sp?)) Anyone want to buy me one of these?!! :-)

Critique Club*

FIRST IMPRESSION: GREAT shots, great title, great combination.

CHALLENGE: Meets the challenge.

COMPOSITION: All of these shots are composed extrelemely well, I love these as abstracts it adda a lot more interest than straight shots of the entire cars. You did an excellent job of keeping the reflections from becoming a distration, especially considering you were shooting at a public car show.

TECHNICAL: The technical aspects of these shots are as close to flawless as I can imagine.

CONCLUSION: This is, in my opinion, a totally and completely professional result. I frankly feel this image deserved much higher than its 24th place finish.

Somebody went to a car show last week. :) Looks excelent. Something I would hang on my wall. Great job. I like how you have 3 different colors of cars, the lighting is wonderful. my only suggestion might have been to stagger the direction of the cars. You have the top 2 at a NW angle, and the bottom one at a NE angle. Maybe stagger them so that the top is NW, the middle is NE and the bottom is NW. if that makes sense. Otherwise, great job! good luck in the challenge.

Very good captures of 3 fine cars. The colors and layout work very well and convey a very professional print format. This is nicely done and has placed high on my list.

I like the tight crops on these. I think the result is more compelling than if they had been more revealing shots of the cars. Lets see how my identification skills are, I'd guess top to bottom: Lamborghini (Diablo), Jag (not sure about that one), and Ferrari (F50). I guess I'll see how I did after the challenge. 8

I like the composition here, great color and clarity of image. The theme is very consitent as well as the bright lighting that enhances the shiney surfaces. 10

Interesting and engaging shot, even for folks who don't "go" for cars. I like the focus, colors and glitz of these autos. They celebrate headlights!

Nice wheels. I'm not sure the middle shot (black rear end) ties in with the other two fast cars. Nice and crisp. Good luck.

The first and third car images in this shot are solid. I think a lighter colored car in the middle would make this even stronger. The yellow car alone makes a great shot :)
