May meet the challenge as far as obsolete goes, but, as far as the compositon is concerned, the stuff on the side and in the background does not help to create an interesting statement...it's just distracting, fairly unidentifiable clutter.

Need to be aware of backgrounds and reflections.

Seems too much a snap shot. I'd clean up the background. Try shooting from a different angle instead of straight on. Different lighting would also help clean up the reflection on the screen. Lacks focus/sharpness.

IMHO the lighting is really flat and the background is very distracting. Possibly try a solid background next time.

Hey there you are taking the picture. I give you a 10 for trying.

different idea, but taking the time to move it to a different background would improve the image, as well as a polarizer (if SLR) to eliminate the reflection of yourself in the TV.

no knobs - how obsolete can this be? ;)

... and your reflection in the screen, and a very busy bg (what's with the paper sack?) The best way to avoid distracting reflections in shiny surfaces it to hold up a large card or hang a sheet, etc.... and make a hole just large enough for camera lens to poke through.

imo, this would have been so much better if you had paid attention to your background. The "stuff" on the right is distracting.

Your reflection on the screen weakens the shot. Looks slightly out of focus.
