Looking for leading lines I shot this on a whim. It is not a terribly dynamic image, but I like the world it takes me into. Hope you do as well.

Levels, Contrast, Rotated, Cropped, Burned, Blended and a touch of garlic!

Post Challenge: Better than a ribbon are the nods from peers who in essence say "You just might be getting it". My thanks for your thoughts. They are uplifting.

wow this is great! I love the saturated greens- a very surreal cavern for the little creature...

That is high praise Colette, better than many ribbons. Thank you and those associations with childhood are nice ones to have throughout the years, I am glad this called them to mind.

I really liked this photo and thought it would finish much higher! I love the bright green with the cricket as a sillouhette (sp?) When I first looked at this photo it reminded me of when I was little and looked through books and would be captivated by these kinds of pictures.

I love the colour in this image...it reminds me of something from childhood, but I can't think what...those Spangle sweets? (70's UK) I love the sinuous line that leads the eye around the image....I just wanting to keep looking - even though I hate spiders - can you do a copy without the spider for me after the challenge:) 10

This is cute, you have managed to make me feel sympathetic towards the bug. I like the silhouette, the colour and the obscure destination.

I really like the dreaminess in this shot, even though I've berated others where there lines look too soft. I like the way that the insect is positioned at an intersection. The whole frame seems to be pointing at it.

This is an interesting image... I'm not so sure about the color and the DOF (which I'm sure could not be helped)...it's a bit much for me and it detracts from the lines.

Wow! How cool is THAT! Such a unique depiction of the challenge! And I even hate bugs, and am not easily impressed by them in photos. But this is awesome. 10
