I agree with most of the comments, though this pretty a shot should never score below a 4 IMHO. The tie in to the challenge has to be so obvious as to risk the cliche, where it will be ripped for being too obvious.

The ice is obsolete. It has outlived its usefullness for this specific purpose. I knew that I was stretching the confines of the challenge a little. This is my first DPC entry and I was just testing the waters. Thanks everyone for the comments.

I'm not sure what I'm looking at...the bottom of a thermos? Regardless, it makes a fun abstract wtih the neat lighting and color. 6

Okay, I must be stupid. I've looked at this three times now & still don't get what I'm looking at! I'm sorry.

I assume I am looking into a coke glass, or maybe ice tea, caffeine is spelled wrong and how does this remotely fit the challenge? Sorry. :(

interesting abstract photo. Nice colors. I don't know what you caught in the upper right corner, but that's the only bad spot.

I like the title (although you spelled it wrong in English), but I just don't get a whole lot of feeling from the image itself. Yes, I understand that you took it from the top of a glass that was once filled with a caffeine-saturated substance - probably coffee, tea, or some chocolate substance) - but it just doesn't grab me as detailed enough, colorful enough, or artistic enough to look like anything more than coffee grounds or leftovers from a good drink. Perhaps that is what you were trying to convey - and if so, you did so very effectively! But as far as a vote on DPC goes, I have to give you a 3. And the image is only scoring a 3 because I like it - I like the colors, the perspective, and the ice crystals. I don't see the relevance to the challenge topic at all.

I am not sure what that is... My guess is the bottom of a glass that held iced coffee???
