Gritty & raw - just the way it was meant to be.
Good title too. Top 30 - cool! |

I really like this photo....I love the gritty, grainy feel to it. It reminds me of that website called, I think, 100 doors? |

I love the textures, but feel the blown out highlights in the bottom right let it down |

This has a lot of power for being relatively static. I think the tones are active and energetic. If this had the tip of one or two fingers (just to add humanity to the mix) reaching up to try to unlock the lock, I would give it a 10. As it is .... 9. |

Very gritty (in a good way) photograph. The bottom right is a bit distracting, and I would have liked to seen the left link line fully.
The overall photograph works well with the title. |

mmmm, gritty goodness. I love this stuff - and don't get to see it nearly enough on DPC. This is great on so many levels, don't let the anti-grainy guys get to you. This rocks - get the feeling I like it yet? :) 9 |

I love the harshness of the contrast. It works well with the grainy subject matter. Very striking, overall. |

does it lose quality at this size? I mean... it looks like it should look great, but it looks flat :( And maybe u shouldve got rid of a little from below... the picture is too long. |

Interesting idea. This has a certain something about it. Not much going on, but excellent tones. I can see this framed on a wall in a coffee shop! My favourite of the challenge so far! |
