Why did you invert this? It would look better as a positive. |

We all know that this is a metal challenge. Excluding the word "metal" would reflect a differant perspective, and strengthen the title.
nice comp, nice b&w's, nice use of invert, nice lines, no dof, nice fg texture, overall just ok |

This really doesn't show me any of the qualities or texture of the metal. |

my goal is to comment on every photo in this challenge..heres urs..good luck. great negitive treatment but i feel like the train is about to go out of the frame...try to remember to leave room in the front of things to give subjects room to walk/go thru...hope this helps and i was clear enough..if not please pm me after voting is over and i will try to be clearer |

I don't find the negative effect adding much to this photo...particularly at the bottom where the shadows make the image look overlit. Just my personal take... |

Negatives never get a good vote here, it tends to be seen as a gimmick. Better to have a well lit positive image in my experience |

I like this Sabattier effect on the black and white picture; it gives it a powerful look and is unusual and effective. |
