The metal really makes this photo. It ties the floor in with both subject and background. It's likely I would have dodged the walls a bit to brighten up and separate the background. |

It's lacking that zing. But hey I do like b&w points for that. Also the person should be to the right more and slighty more the profile would make this better |

A little out of focus and getting more of tehe diner would be cool too. |

I'm not sure if the focus is intentionally a bit soft (to give a feeling of reminiscence) or not, but I feel like this needs to be a little sharper. I don't know if that's a "model" or if this is a grab shot, but if a model, I might have tried a slightly different location so the poster doesn't cut off the head in the reflection. |

This photograph gives me such a feeling of nostalgia. Good use of black and white, it transports me back in time. |

Did you flip this 180 degrees? Looks like some of the letters are backwards. I like the floor and the stools. I don't like the person behind the counter with their head behind the poster. |

The window gives a distracting white patch, perhaps fill in flash would have helped. |

What's your point? I am attempting to find something constructive to comment on, but I just don't see anything here to "move me". Your subject is not well portrayed, dark, hard to make out. I see better detail in the chair in the foreground. Sorry Photo 6 Creativity 4 People 5 total 5 |

this a great shot in that it makes you feel...lonely. or something. i only wish the guy was in better focus, otherwise very nice. |

Did you know that person? If yes, I would've asked him to move to a different table so that his reflection is not cut off by the poster. That would also have given more visibility to his face, something I'm lacking in this photo. Other than that, I like the b&w, the angle and framing. |

This looks more like a diner than a gas station, eh? The man seems to be out of focus as well (that or blurred). |

I like this photo, and I think you chose well with black and white rather than color. It makes the photo much more interesting this way. |

I really like this photo.. The black and white aspect of it really strikes me as well... The focus is a little soft and I may be able to contribute that to a lower end camera. What I don't understand about this photo is the 'mirrored' signs on the right wall behind the bar... I am unable to tell if this is only on that wall or if this whole photo is mirrored? Regardless... its a great photo and it gets a 9 this week... good job! |

Did you flip it horizontally on purpose??? Nice picture, though. Maybe focus could be a little better! |

excellent in black and white. a TOUCH blurry, which I think adds to the detachment generated by the lone customer with back to camera. very well done exposure/light. I'm jealous : ) |

There's lots of pathos in this image, and the soft lighting and black and white work well. The focus is just a little off. |

This is great. Love the composition. Especially like how no one else is visible in the picture. Really like b/w here. |

Looks so lonesome..... I think the black and white really enhance this shot. The reflections on the floor are great. |
