We all know that this is a metal challenge. Excluding the word "metal" would reflect a differant perspective, and strengthen the title.

nice capture, nice lines, comp just ok, nice dof, b&w ok, overall just ok

I like the way even the water and shoreline appear somewhat metallic. This embodies the way I understood the challenge requirement. Good job.

Hmmm... very interesting picture. I think it would even be better if the metal structure would be closer. I would make this pic more panoramic; I would cropped a little from up and a little more from down.

Offshore rig. The wave did not help me. And materials on the right don't seem to be very important. See the metal to the upper left with some water would be better for me.

my goal is to comment on every photo in this challenge..heres urs..good luck. i think i might have tried to use a slower shutter time for this to make the water more misty looking...i love the B&W here

i think the photo should've been cropped out more. to the top and where the whole wave is rolling would look good.

Intriguing scene - nice contrast between hard lines of the metal and softness of water/ organic roundness of pebbles.

Cold and sad. A good photo, just... something missing. I don't know what. What is this place?

Nice shot. What was it before you took the photo? :)

Interesting idea, the foreground does not add much to the overall scene, maybe a slower shutter speed might have helped add interest. Good tones overall though.

Good choice of color (if this isn't naturally how it looked). I have mixed feelings about the crumbling wave being in the foreground.
