Basically a snap shot I took at an Xbox party where Garbage was playing. It's a bad picture, but security was mean and cameras were not allowed, so I did what I could...

Just one other comment - I was really close to her (I could have grabbed the microphone without stretching) during much of the show, but before I took this one I slipped back a few people. I was getting jostled about very much, and the lighting was very low, so the photo lacked an absolute focus. I tried, though! :)

Oh - Annie Lennox is a good call, by the way :)

Is that a brace for treatment of "microphone elbow?"

You caught her with a great expression on her gorgeous face :). When I saw Garbage in January, at a bit music festival here in Australia, she couldn't take the sun in her eyes and kept complaining, then cut the set short :(. Lucky you to get close enough to take this shot. I think turning up the contrast a bit would have helped.

Out of focus and a little blurry.

I realy wish that this was in focus. There are some great contrasts that would stand out if it was more in focus.

Damn shes fine... :-)

Maybe my eyes are getting old/tired, but somehow this doesn't quite look clear. Is the focus on her left forearm? I have issues with the background, but I know, it couldn't be helped, it's just a bit distracting. Her face could use a little more light, too.

I like the photo, I just think it may have been better if it were sharper and maybe cropped a little differently.

Too many distracting shadows

Nice use of b&w. I feel like your focus is centered on her chest... Arms seem out of focus to me.

Why'd she cut her hair like that? she used to be hot

Nice shot! Obviously pushing the limits of the camera with this one. Would have been nice if the focus were a bit tighter, but good composition.

Nice nipples. A little blurry.
05/28/2002 01:43:00 PM
Choice location! I hope you enjoyed the show!

i'd really like this if it wasn't out of focus

Very good

great shot of shirley. Saw them a few weeks ago in Texas, good gig!

The contrast is a bit flat in this though, could do with some tweaking to bring out the blacks and whites more strongly.

very nice shot... the focus is a tad soft but other than that, this works! good job!
05/27/2002 02:47:00 PM
Interesting shot, looks like fun. Good work.

What happened to her red hair? I'll give you a good score based on content, and the fact that it's "illegal" to have a camera at a concert...
05/27/2002 12:57:00 PM
it's a bit blurry but still amazong that you were somehow able to sneak a camera into a garbage show. I'm thinking you're on max zoom here. boy, shirley is looking very annie lennox these days, aint she?
05/27/2002 08:13:00 AM
this is an awesome piture, but it's a bit blurry
05/27/2002 05:41:00 AM
Could have been a bit sharper.
05/27/2002 05:24:00 AM
Garbage is freaking awsome!
05/27/2002 05:02:00 AM
I thought no cameras allowed...
