Really tricky to take coz I couldn't look through the viewfinder and took quite a few shots to get the light on his visor right.

I dont think this'll do well since the pedants will no doubt want to "see" the metal rather than the welding. I dont care I like it.

A great image truly produced without "sparkles" I find more beauty in the real sparks as they are the inherent property of metal under friction. Congratulations on your top 20 finish.

Great photo, but feel the focal point is more the flame/arc and the welder than the metal.
