I dont care what you all think, I still think my friend there with the big hair is what makes this pic really interesting!

Two centres of interest are not always a bad thing, but it's pretty drilled into peoples heads that it is. No biggie, a great shot that definitely fits the challenge and, IMO, should have scored a lot higher. Nice work

Alex

EDIT: Apologies for the atrocious grammar, but I'm sick, tired and lazy. It's also easier to apologize than to correct.

It would have been better without the person.

The person is a little distracting. It may have worked better if he was somehow interacting with your subject. Maybe just looking at it.

Nice colour and the person adds an interesting focal point.

Old one. Is this an auto? .. did not help me and if you have some part of particular interest I did not see it.

Cool, quirky shot with lots of interest and compositionally sound. 9.

I actually think I would like this better if the man wasn't in the background. But it's great as it is also. Wonderful shot.

The guy that looks like Lyle Lovett in the background is a bit distracting.

The subject is fine, but I can't get the relationship between the that and the human, who seems arbitary. 5

the wild-haired guy in the background is a distraction from this otherwise well shot photo

Nice shot. The lighting is good. The person in the background is distracting though. 5

Interesting angle for the machinery, but I think the person in the background detracts. Would have liked to see a tighter shot just of the metal...would be interesting to see how it was in b&w...

How wonderfully quirky! Love the geometry of the foreground and the composition overall works superbly for me. That exhaust pointing at the cool dude behind is nice and his air of obliviousness works well. Nice textures, nice colours. NICE!

This could have been a much stronger entry, IMO, if the guy was not in the background. I find him very distracting.

Pity aboutthe person - it kinda spoiled it for me. Lovely subject with some interesting colours and textures though.
